Spencer's Corner

The gang was all there last night for Bike Night at Spencer’s Corner – almost 20 in our group alone. Spencer’s has only been open for a couple of weeks, but you sure couldn’t tell by the crowd of bikers that were there last night – probably somewhere in the neighborhood of 200 bikes. They had a live band, a bikini contest, food, $2 domestics and well drinks, and even a guy that shined shoes. The girls and I played shuffleboard and had a blast – even though Bruce was cheating . We saw a bunch of familiar faces from the Icehouse and Gators… all in all a great night. The only drawback (are you listening, Spencer?) is that there was no air conditioning. The few fans they had spaced throughout the place were not even close to doing the job. So, if you are gonna go, tank tops and shorts would probably be the way to go. Damn it was hot! Till next time….
