The trip to Carlsbad was awesome! Big thanks to our trip planners!! We did have a really great time and I hope to have some more pictures up tomorrow. Meanwhile, our guardian angels had a busy weekend, too. Things I’m thankful for:
- Tire repair shops in small towns that repair motorcycle tires, and are open on a long weekend DURING the first weekend of dove season. (We live in Texas, ya’ll – this is huge!)
- 20 drops of rain all weekend, despite being completely surrounded by black clouds several times.
- Only having security called on us once.
- Experienced group leaders that barely managed to miss two of the biggest buzzards I have ever seen.
- Great friends and good times – 15 folks back home safe and sound, with right at 1,000 miles logged.
